ODD FOUNDATION owes its origin to a particular conviction. The conviction was that all the emerging issues the world encounters today in the disparate field of poverty, illiteracy, social unrest, crime, terrorism, extremism, addiction, physical / mental ill health etc. stem from HUMAN INSANITY.
ODD FOUNDATION envisions a world free of human sufferings (drug addiction, mental illness, HIV, poverty etc) emanating from Human Insanity. It provides a platform where every afflicted irrespective of caste, creed, colour , religion and political belief has an equal access to quality care enabling him to live a normal life in the family, society and work place.
Individual insanity creates insane societies thereby causing human suffering that pose threat to human civilization. Human suffering is on increase as well as disintegration of the human societies. But the man with his sophisticated knowledge can mitigate/eradicate the sufferings. For that, the man has to restrict his craze for and control his unjustifiable, irrational and insatiable desire for money, power, position, name, fame.
Truth is the only cure to human insanity. Truth is the realization of the fact that helping others is the basic purpose of life and is the happiest thing in the world. Let us help our family members and also help others in the society to our level best. Let us make this world free of human insanity, suffering and despair.

To investigate into the domain of Human Insanity, an odd group of social and medical think tank identified the world of Drug Addiction as the most suitable area for study. The field of human suffering is much wide, varied and multi-dimensional. Physical sickness, mental illness, addiction, societal rejection, poverty etc, the various forms of human suffering were the areas of concern.
